This track can address strategies for cardiovascular disease prevention, including lifestyle modifications (e.g., diet, exercise, smoking cessation), risk assessment, and population health interventions. Guidance on the prescription of exercise and physical activity for cardiovascular health promotion and disease prevention. This includes recommendations for aerobic exercise, resistance training, flexibility exercises, and balance training. Topics may also include exercise intensity, frequency, duration, and progression, as well as considerations for special populations (e.g., older adults, individuals with chronic conditions).
